    Hey, @alwzdfiant, I haven’t found current conditions. I know it got a lot of snow the end of December but it’s been really warm and, in SoCal, these weeks should have melted the snow and the subsequent mud. When I google the route, it shows ‘open’ on every site I found.

    For anyone that’s not been, here’s a few related results that give a pretty good overall. I say overall because some weigh in with opinions that are completely opposite what others say. As long as it’s not mudded in, should be the full range of high-clearance 2WD friendly on the main route, to some pretty good flex-testers on some of the off-shoots. But none of it feels remote:

    Nope. The main route is medium clearance 2WD friendly. There are little (optional*) side obstacles along the way that range from 2WD to long-travel proffered).

    Will do, I'm visiting from out of town and staying in Oxnard. Was trying to think of something to do this weekend. Couple weekends ago I did Hungry Valley. Cleghorn looks like almost a 2hr one way no traffic :(
