Finally going to pull all the carpet from my 14' that I have been living with a musty smell that was from my poor carpet cleaning job a while back.

Plan to pull the carpet, use Meq. APC, let it sit for a while, use drill brush and pressure wash until clear. Also going to vacuum the metal floor and use diluted bleach water to wipe it all down before reinstall.

    Sound like a decent plan?

APC might work well. If there's mold and smells, you might want an enzymatic cleaner like P&S Terminator. Or better yet use the P&S interior 3 step. Terminator, then Carpet Bomber, then Finisher. Finisher will be nice because of the peroxide.

I would not ever apply bleach to steel not even in diluted form. Bleach will initiate some severe rusting issues. A dose a non diluted simple green or formula 409 and a terry rag should clean off anything that shouldn't be there. Let it dry good and then let it dry some more before you proceed. A leaf blower, hair dryer, shop vac hose on outlet can all help make sure no wet areas are present.
