Cleaning a spray on bed liner

Ahh ok. Sorry I thought you had the bedliner done. Didn’t realize it was already installed. Is the smell getting any better?

 

Not really. I have washed it several times at the self serve car wash and it still smells like someone used the bed as an ash tray.

 

The smell was less noticeable when opening the tailgate when I first bought it back in March. The temps were much cooler though. I wonder if this could be covered by warranty if the original owner got the bed sprayed at factory. It was sold new to original owner at the very end of August 2021. But I have no idea what options were installed factory and which were done by the dealer or after market etc.

 

I had a Line-x spray done just after I bought the truck. Then I got the OEM tonneau. I haven't noticed that smell. I always found it revolting!

 

Had mine since new, with factory bedliner. Never had any smell yet. If I need to clean it. It’s with a hose and rinse it right out.
