I've been installing leather Clazzio seat covers on my 2018 Tundra double cab. For the backrest of the backseat, the instructions say to pull the velcro portion through the seat gap and "fix the velcro." I can't find a logical place to put this velcro flap, and the seat cover shifts quite a bit after folding the seat up and down currently.

I've searched the web and can't find anyone addressing this. Does anyone have any ideas?

I wonder if they changed the rear covers. I have them in my 2013, but mine has straps that run through tension buckles to tighten. The bottom seat has velcro but it has the 2 strips on it to fasten to each other. This was the passenger side that I went and looked at. I'll check the drivers side to see if it is the same.

Thanks for the reply. The front seats have straps, but the rears don't on mine.

I installed Clazzio my Silverado12'.... It was velcro also. Maybe a bad design?? Mine stayed on. Call Clazzio perhaps, to see what they say... I would hate that issue!!

I'll look at the instructions for mine...I still have them in the tool box. I will compare them to yours. I'm thinking that velcro attaches to that carpeted looking area.

Is there velcro on the back side of this area in yellow?

Mine attached to the seat covers itself. Pull it over original seats, then velcro underneath. Toyota maybe different.

Mine had no straps....so, maybe that's an upgrade they made. still, my instructions wasn't the best. They need better/ specific installation paperwork

On each end of seat covers, one side fuzzy and other was the grip side. Once stretched over, I fastened them together. Looks like it's too short. All my covers velcro'd to each other. Might be a bad design??

Got it! The instructions are pretty bad. So the yellow part has this white, gauzy material over a velcro strip. I removed that, pulled the red part back up, and those two connect together now.

Thanks to all who chimed in!

Mine was separate. Too cover fastened to itself... Bottom fastened to itself.

Sorry for the delay. These things have been a real pain to install, so it's taken me a bit to finish. They turned out pretty nice though!

I realize I am reviving an old thread, but this seems to be the most relevant thread to my question...

I am trying to install clazzio leather seat covers in my '21 Crewcab, but I am having a very difficult time getting the headrests covered. I have pulled and pulled trying to get the leather cover over the headrest, but have not been able to pull it all the way down. Anybody that has done this....Any suggestions?

You need another set of hands to compress the headrest as you pull the cover down. That was the easiest way for me. Also, try rolling the bottom of the headrest up about halfway and then try to pull down from there and unroll as you get it on.

I left the headrest on the seat. Squeeze the headrest together, work one corner then the other. Once I got it on half way on, I removed the headrest, and was able to pull them the rest of the way on using the headrest bars as leverage.
