Hello all, I bought a tundra that was already lifted about 2 1/2 to 3 inches last year. I noticed if I go over some bumps, there is a clanging noise in the steering wheel. Does anybody have any suggestions of how to prevent this or stop it? I do have 305/55/20, Toyo's AT Open Country tires on there now.

Are you sure the sound is in the steering wheel? If so, I'd definitely look at the videos on how to remove it and at least check everything. If you are comfortable pulling the wheel to check all parts, and then putting it all back together. That would be a good starting point with you saying the noise is in the steering wheel.

But as stated above. Not really anything else we can do without info. What type of lift is on the truck, is it a block/spacer lift or actual suspension meant to raise the front. The list can go on and on. Post some pics and hopefully some more info and folks can try and provide more accurate suggestions.

It appears to be a spacer lift. I was told that the noise that resonates through the steering wheel could be coming from the wheels as the front hits a bump?
