Just tried this and thoroughly enjoyed it, paired this with an elysian space dust IPA. Wonderful end to a busy day.

Sorry for the stock picture from google, I did not think to take a picture of it before it was gone.

I think I am going to really enjoy adding cigars to my lifestyle. That was only my third one.

Ok that gurkha reserve was not my favorite. It tasted good and the smoke was smooth BUT it was way to tight and hard to get a good draw on I had to puff on it to get a decent draw.:(

How do they smoke? Are they too tight like the reserve or just right?

They make 3 different ones that I know of. 2 are rounded, and the 1 in the pic is a torpedo. I personally like torpedoes since I can regulate the amount of draw better. I use a punch on the rounded ones, and sometimes have to use a paper clip to open it up more. Luck of the draw :D

One of my brothers favorites! Acid Kuba Maduro.
The tobacco is still sweet, burns slow and is really mellow.

Enjoying this quick draw Pennsylvania broad leaf by Southern Draw (I believe it is a veteran owned company) with a cup of black coffee from the beautiful hand etched Louder With Crowder mug.

I had the pleasure of having a Padron 80th anniversary a few weeks ago. It was the best cigar I have ever smoked. I have smoked many different brands. I only had it cause it was a gift. I can't smoke $40 cigars. Lol. My go to are Partagas Black, or CAO Maduro Square Press. Now I can't wait to get home and smoke.

That pardon cost $25 I cannot speak to its taste because it was a gift for a friend. I am also partial to a box pressed as far as the feel of it goes but I wont let that deter me from trying others.

The yellow band 2012 by oscar was one of my favorites, I also really enjoyed the La Fleur Dominicana Ligero L500, and if you like a strong cigar the very first post was the My Father La Opulencia very very good but very strong.

I will be trying the Chupacabra by Easteban Carreas tonight.

Although the space dust IPA is probably delicious try drinking something sweet. I normally have Dr.Pepper if I can't have alcohol or Sailor Jerry rum and coke when I can. Cigars are on the bitter end of the taste scale and the IPA is really bitter. Try it both ways with the same cigar and you will notice the difference. Or tell me to STFU and drink what you like. Lol

HaHaa I will take that into consideration. I dont drink soda but I will find something.

The tobaconist recommended that cigar to go with that beer and I was not disappointed.
My pallet leans towards the bitter side i like black coffee, strong IPAs, black licorice, etc.
That being said I do also like sweet things... ok I am a fat kid and I like just about anything.
