looking into doing a chrome delete. And tempted to buy the 2018 grill just to change the chrome surround to the one that comes painted black. Does anybody have pics of that done. Another option was to plasti dip it but idk if that’s a good idea. If anybody has any pictures of that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You can get a color matched TRD Pro grill (if they made a TRD Pro in your color) and keep the insert if that's what you're looking for.

Did you paint your limited parts or swap from a '17 Pro?

Pro parts swap. Sorry, I thought that was implied by my post.

That is what I thought you were saying, but I wanted to double check. I just moved from a Pro to a Limited, so all the chrome is freaking me out.

Mine is almost complete. I need to paint the letters if I can get the TSS to be stable.

@jmdwifi . . . Seeing you park that nice truck next to the shopping cart return thing has got my anxiety up to a level 5-6.

Lol.....I probably look like I'm drunk whenever I go to park, because I risk assess each spot and can't decide. Usually end up parking 1/4 mile away.

Well kind of. People are lazy....BUT if they happen to be close enough, they'll just push the cart in the general direction of the shopping cart corral. And in this case, towards a nice cement tundra.

    I'm done now :)

It's amazing Toyota doesn't make their trucks look like this. Toyota must have some sort of stock in chrome or something. Old Buicks don't even have as much chrome as these trucks do from the factory.

I'm in the process of deleting the chrome. It takes time and, unfortunately a lot of money. Getting ready to vinyl wrap the chrome on the front and rear bumpers and replace the taillights with Spyder LED's.
