Had a question about my chrome delete kit I ordered from Amazon. I don't think there is a customer service for this Chinese-made kit. ANYWAY....

All of the vent covers went on just fine except ONE. It seems like it is not able to make contact with the chrome part. I tried to pull out the vent a little but that didn't work. Just wondering if any of you had experienced this or if I need to remove the others and return them. Could it be the vent or do you think it is most likely a faulty cover? The shifter part went on fine as did the cup holder part. Just not this stinker.

(also: as you can tell, I had some matte black spray paint and I tried to paint the chrome to see what would happen. hah. Not that great a job by me.)

    How does that attach?

You don't link what you bought and I'm not familiar with any generic kits off Amazon.

If it's not attached with double sided tape, try swapping it with one of the other covers you used for a different vent. Try and determine if its the vent or the cover giving you issues.

Yeah, it's double-sided tape which is why I didn't want to take the others off. Just in case it ruins the stickiness. I may just take them off and try that method, then return them. Get a whole new set.

How are they not fitting? I believe the vents on either side of the head unit are the same part number. So if the one on the right had a cover fit it, that cover should have worked on the one on the left.

If it didn't, I really don't have a simple cost effective solution. If you have access to a 3d printer, the snap over vent ring might work but again, if yours is not the same as the other vents. The 3d printed rings are a one size fits all solution....
