This install was for our guy Hector who is down in Sac. First full install of the new colored Material and V2 of the Front BumperShellz! Learned some stuff from that install, so I'm going to post updates on that today to help all of you on your installation. Note 1, there is an additional piece of hardware we're sending out today to help with some possible variation we noticed over the weekend bumper to bumper, so I would highly recommend waiting for that before starting the install if you have the fronts.

Is the bulge cover fully installed? Looks like a lot of chrome still showing on the side

Yeah they are fully installed and no chrome showing at all. Maybe it's the shadows or something but I can definitely say no chrome showing.

Once we get everything humming with these 3 OEM colors we're going to move on to a couple more colors that will be painted in house. Probably need a month to recover from this one. My nerves are shot lol

Is there a valid discount code? The TUNFRM isn’t working for me. Trying to purchase colormatched front bumpershellz in MGM w/o parking sensor holes.

Try it now. Should be working. I also put a few more in stock because when I looked, it showed we had just ran out in the last 10 minutes.

Front Installation Instructions Link for V2
These will be emailed out as well. We did a lot of work to make the instructions as in depth as possible, since these will require more time than the V1. All V2 instructions will be Online from now on so we can continue to add content or new updates to them.

    Installation Instructions Link for V2
    https://www.ecoological.com/du0.html

Also, as a reminder, these are going to be sent out with a small hardware kit that we found helps account for some of the variation in the Center Valance. If your order already shipped, we are sending out the hardware kit separately. Either on it's own, or with your Grille and Hood Bulge if you ordered one of those. You can do the majority of the installation without the hardware kit, but you wont be able to secure the lowest bolt on the center valance on each side. That shouldn't be a problem in the short term, and you will be able to put on the lower bolt hardware when it gets to you.

My understanding from previous posts is the V2s are available and what is shipping now.

They’re expanding their color offerings but they don’t have army green yet.

Got my MGM shells today. Passenger side fit great. Driver side didn’t so I worked it a little with a heat gun. Might of been a good idea, might not I dunno how I feel about it. Then I noticed my center bumper looks crooked which might be why it didn’t fit right. Any ideas ? Now my parking sensor screams on one side all the time too. Overall great quality and paint match but maybe I just should of left it alone.

Make sure that the Un-plug and re-plug in that sensor. Something could be tripping it. Since there isn't anything obscuring the sensor, it shouldn't be tripping unless something is going on with the electrical connection. Also, message me with a picture of a couple spots around that passenger side, and I'll see if there is anything I can see to help. Looks awesome!

Installed my Silver Sky complete set last night. Got the entire front and rear set along with hood bulge and grille surround. Grille surround and hood bulge were really easy to put on. No fitment issues and no bubbling. All pieces came packaged very well and no damage to any piece or the box even after making it from West Coast to East Coast.

I would highly recommend paying attention to the new instructions for the V2 as I used a YouTube video I found to walk me through how to install and soon realized they are totally different on how they are secured from the prior version, but obviously after looking at the new instructions it went perfectly.

The rear bumper covers went on very easy, but the fitment appears slightly off compared to the first version. It’s definitely installed correctly as it’s pulled as far over as it can be. See pic. The bottom right side doesn’t seem to sit flush or evenly to the black valance. It’s like that on both sides. Looks great none the less, but that’s my only head scratcher if it looks right.
    upload_2021-7-7_10-17-12.jpg
    upload_2021-7-7_10-19-38.jpg

the front bumper covers went on without any issue and fit snug and no signs of chrome anywhere on the truck. They were definitely a pain to get my hands up in the front valance to remove the screws to secure the new version, but after trial and error on the left side the right side was a cake walk.
    upload_2021-7-7_10-20-19.jpg

All in all I would highly recommend them. You can tell it’s a quality product, clearly the revisions they made to the product and install make it not only fit better, but look better. Their customer service at least in my opinion has been awesome.

Dude, it's a completely different truck! It looks so good. Shipping parts that big from west to east is putting them through the ringer, so I'm so happy everything made it to you alright! Thanks for the kind words and everything. It's a good way to walk back into the office after being away.

Thanks I'll try that next, for now I just have them turned off. I'm waiting on spares of the white sensor clips from Toyota then I'll sand them some more and see if that helps as well. I didn't want to tear it apart and not have spare clips in the event they become to flexible and don't hold the sensor. The passenger side fits great. I'm pissed that I didn't see that my bumper was crooked before installing the driver side but it is what it is. I didn't see the updated instructions that tell you to pull the front valance but thats on me for being to excited to get them on right away. I just got the hardware pack today with the instructions link. The quality of your product is amazing, they look great.

Edit: My original post said that it was the passenger side I had issues with, but it was the driver's side

Thanks man! My best guess is the disconnect like a mentioned earlier, or since the inboard edges aren't tucked underneath the center valance, it is probably pushing the entire shell outboard a little bit. That would most likely strain the bezel on the sensor which would push the bezel out, and pull the actual sensor in, so the sensor is picking up the edges of the bezel. you can tell by just looking at your sensor, and seeing if the interior ring is depressed. Sanding down the springs like you were saying would help with that, but if you wanted to get a little more crazy, could try to take off the cover since it's only one piece of tape now, and reinstall it using the V2 instructions and the extra tape provided in the hardware package. If you are going to do that though, give me a call and I'll walk you through how to do it so you wont risk cracking the shell.

Hmmm okay that gives me some options. Thank you for the quick response. I'm waiting on some RCI Skids to show up so hopefully when I'm setup to install those next week I can try some of these tips and get this figured out as well. Thanks again !
