@EC1 any more info on the factory colors availability?

 

I was hoping to hear something Wednesday...oh well what’s a little longer lol.

 

Any more word on these? I was ready to throw my money at it but it seems to have went silent? Ready to give you my money!

 

We don't have the samples yet (Shipping today) so I haven't been able to do a color match check on the parts but I will have I would say about 10 sets of Attitude (Midnight) Black, 15 of MGM, and 15 of Silver Sky. It's not going to be an exact number since we are going to have front and rear sets in the mix as well. If you have any of those colors, I would wait to order. Once I have done a color check on our samples and have a scheduled ship date of the plastic, I will post on the forum again. I'm going to have some of the material set aside for guys who have been on the color match wait list for a long time, and some set aside exclusively for people who either individually want the grille surround, or grille surround + BumperShellz. Sorry I haven't been super on top of this. There has been a lot of back and forth with the supplier while we try to figure our current and future supply orders. Thanks for all your patience guys!

 

It's not going to be one of the "formed colors" that I've been talking about, but (and I know I've been saying this a lot for 4 months now) the permits should be going through really soon, and that will be one of the colors we will do.

 

There will be a group buy for them! See my post 2 above for more details about how that is going to work, and the initial colors it will be for.

 

Ok so no midnight black metallic then? Or is the attitude black the same 218 color code? I’m looking for grill surround and front/rear bumpershellz.

 

Attitude Black and Midnight Black are the same color code (218), just a different name. I'll update my post to reflect that. Thanks for reminding me!

 

@EC1 - Then if your suggestion is to wait on the surround and front and back bumper shell sets for color match, would there be another group buy for the color match sets? Thanks.

I just received my order I placed a couple weeks back and was hoping you could help me with it. The order was for front and rear TPO covers my my Tundra, box had rear covers for a Tacoma and no front covers.

Any chance you can help me with this, or point me the right direction?

Wow. That's expensive. I'm going to buy a roll of 3M vinyl and wrap mine. It's like $30 for a 2' x 5' roll. I'll try my luck with that for now. Lol

Any idea what color is the closest match? I tried to go down this path about 3 years ago with my 2017 Inferno, got a bunch of samples, but couldn’t get anything to match good enough- the closest I found for 3M was the G364 Gloss Fiery Orange.

Edit: I should mention I ended up buying the TPO bumper shellz and they have been fantastic so far!

 

I'm going to try rvinyl. I haven't checked the color match yet but hoping they might have something close.

 

@EC1 so when we get in on the group buy we put a 2 for quantity? I'm looking at getting the paintable abs, I'll just paint it myself.

 

Not yet, but when we start painting we will be doing that color.
