Can you message me your order number and stuff like that. Sometimes that just means that they made an edit on your shipment (to correct information/ change package dims), and that will create a new tracking number, so you might just be looking at an old tracking number, but if you send me that info, I'll get it checked out ASAP.

Not specifically related to these posts, but I know you guys are talking price. In relation to that, I am trying to sandbag the price a little. Just don't want to put out the idea that these are much cheaper than they'll end up being. I can't see them being any more than $400 which is why I put it out there, but I really won't have a nailed down price until we actually paint. Perhaps I should have given a range...yeah, that would have been better lol. $300-$400 depending on how costs shake out for OEM color match. Obviously, the costs will end up being what they are, and the hope is to get the price to the level that makes OEM replacement seem dumb (always the goal). I would hold off just a little bit longer until I can get an official cost, and then I'd love to get your opinion on what we end up with, and if that seems reasonable for the product. Hope we end up coming through for all of you on the OEM color match:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

I’m still excited to upgrade from the plastidip finish I applied recently! I just couldn’t wait to get rid of the chrome!

Thanks EC! I’m not going to do anything until I see the final price list. The more I look at my truck the more I think the color match is the way to go. I know you all have been putting in a ton of work getting to this point.

Any chance of a “swatch”? Even the cutouts from the fog lights would be perfect to hold up to the truck. I was set on the TPO bumper caps, but the matte black posted above looks like it matches better? I’m really just waiting for temps to warm and some of the snow to melt... so overthinking things in the meantime

Yep! Just message me your address and I'll send the request to our customer service department. They'll be able to get swatches sent out.

I think that note was for their BETA test which is closed now. They haven't released the product yet.

It’s the TPO. It actually matches the plastic on the front bumper

I’ll get it on the right way in a day or so and post up pics or videos. I will say the fit seems to be spot on. Hopefully get all four bumpers ends powder coated as well

    @EC1

Have any of the beta testers tried removing the grille surround after the bulge is in place?

This would be necessary for headlight bulb swapping etc

Great question. Not as far as I know, but I can't see that being an issue. No hardware is covered up up by these, so you should still be able to access everything you need to remove the grille surround if needed.

Sorry, from a non beta tester but one who has participated in many outside Tundra beta test programs.....

"Can't see it being an issue" and "should still be able to", are questions I would want to know for sure if buying.

Time for one (or a few) of the testers to have a go at it and report back. Then we will know for sure. As least that is my thought on it.

I’ll give it a try when I received the bulge and surround. The freezing temps in Houston has shut the city down so I don’t expect to receive it until this weekend at the earliest.

Agree! Thanks @Swarley and ditto what Bruce said! We definitely know about power outages here in California, but not combined with snow and freezing temps.

I assume once the GrilleShellz come online you'll be starting a new thread... please make sure to put up a link to the new thread in this thread... I'm only checking this one right now.

I'll probably just rename this current thread to just include the Grille Overlays since most of the answers to a lot of questions are already on this thread, unless if anyone knows why that would be a bad idea.

Also, we've gotten feedback from most of our BETA testers now, so we should be getting close a group-buy date

Time and weather finally permitted me to install the rear covers! Very happy with the fit and TPO texture. Going to install front covers when I get the grill surround. Hopefully you can see the how good the TPO looks next to the plastic on the bumper.
