Will you be doing Silver Sky? Any ideas on pricing yet?

 

We are going to be doing these colors, but they're not going to be involved in the BETA testing. End of February we should either be close to up and running, or have an exact date to start with OE color matching.

 

Had mine for a couple months now finally took some pics! Very happy with them..now patiently waiting for a restocked on cement cover for my Tacoma..

Will your Canadian vendor (Super-Bee) be able to order these in the future?

 

Yes they will! They probably will bot have access to inventory for a month or two so we can make sure we can have the bandwidth for the group-buy and forum members first, but they'll be able to order it shortly after that.

 

We will be selling them separately. I just don't have the pricing for that broken down yet. It's not going to be split down the middle exactly, the surround will account for more of the cost than the hood bulge due to it's size and complexity.

Just of curiosity, did the price of the BumperShellz end caps drop in price? Mine just dropped $100 total since I got mine in Dec

 

I think we were able to reduce price on the Matte Black, but that's about it, and definitely not by $100. I can't remember if you bought yours through us or Super Bee. Super Bee might have higher prices to account for customs fees and warehousing costs. In our space, typically products will get more expensive over time due to material cost expenses and minimum wage increases. We do try to reduce prices if we can through more efficient manufacturing methods and stuff like that, but when we do that, it's because we were able to increase our profit margin which we usually pass on in the form of lower prices, not because we could have sold it for less in the first place. Anyway, super long explanation, but you've been following us for a while so I just wanted to make sure you didn't feel ripped off if that actually is the case that prices have dropped that much since you purchased.

 

Are there plans to include attitude black (218)? How about the attitude black for the bumpershellz?

All my OE color match people. We will be making all of these colors. Cost is going to be dependent on run size, but should be in the $400 range for most OE colors. That's still subject to change after we actually get the permit approved which is slated for the end of this month. As for timing, I'd like to say that we will be up and running beginning of March, but I would say if you're more anxious and don't want to wait another 2 months for us to paint it if that ends up being the case, just order the paintable versions and have them painted at a local shop. We tried to price those parts really low to make that reasonable if you chose to go that way.

 

Any timing on when I can actually order the TPO? Every time I look at the chrome I want to vomit. I'm about to go at it with a Sharpie.

 

Please do haha. The before and after pictures of that would sell our product all by themselves lol. I'm planning on the Group Buy for everything starting in about 2 weeks. That should give us enough time to get feedback from our testers, make any changes, and basically get everything set to have our shop doing nothing but these for a week.

Is the basic Bulge and grill surround material a black color ABS plastic product?

That is the color of the product after production before any other colors are added.
