    Still rolling stock baby....
    Well I was not going to smoke anything this weekend.
    Then I started to yesterday but my fire would not lite and it was windy cold damp day. I admit I got a little depressed with no family around.

    I had a pork butt I was just going to toss into the freezer.

    Get up this morning to a awesome sunrise and decided to see if I could get this butt on

    Fire lit right off. Strange.
    Got the smoker running while I prepped the butt

    It’s on now and running
    It’s cold out but not a lot of wind. Probably going to consume fuel like a hungry hippo lol. I loaded the grill with more charcoal than I normally do.

    Anyway I hope all of you have a great day and of course here’s my butt

    Going to be putting this 10 pounder on the smoke for a couple of hour (already came smoked, but a little more hickory flavor won’t hurt) then finish it off the the oven in a baking bag to keep it moist.. shout out to Benedettis Meat Market in Springfield Oregon!
