Wanting an exhaust for my crewmax. dont want to have drone as i drive over 120 miles a day on highway to and from work. Really wanting dirty deeds systems based off of the comments i see and hear about Keiths systems. Never heard any in person and would like to. live in SWLA. TIA

Budget system with resonator and drone will be minimal and usually only at a certain RPM range within a speed range. 6 inch you shouldnt have any drone.

The question is how much if any drone can you deal with and how loud do you want your exhaust to be.

120 miles a day? Thats a lot of driving, even without drone, the sheer volume of the budget system is likely to get old

I'd look into the 8 maybe 10" if I drove that many miles. Even the 6 may get a little loud on those high mile days.

Better in what sense? Noise? Drone? Low end power loss? Cost? Looks?

I had the budget from DD. Sounds great but had just a little drone, not much. Might get annoying at 120 a day. It also had some rasp at higher rpms. I returned that to DD and bought the 6 inch from DD. Perfect for me. No rasp no drone. Just a hair louder then stock when cruising. From mild acceleration to WOT it sounds awesome. Very happy with dirty deeds 6 inch. Great customer service from keith

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
I still lean towards the TRD Duals. Good sound and design with no droning.

For a long commute like this for sure get at least the 6”, out of the choices in this poll.

But personally I would go with our 8” systrm.

You have a full sound warranty. I’ll exchange anything we send you forever. You can trade up for full credit. Straight across for free. Or trade down for free.

But trust me, based on your description, the 6” will be just right;)

I have either the 8" or the 10" BAM. I talked to Keith when I bought my truck and added the supercharger back in '14. I still know I have an exhaust, but the exhaust is fairly quiet until I open the throttle. No drone whatsoever.

    Oh, go stainless.

    Here’s a crappy video of my 6”
    https://youtu.be/euumF-bCooQ

I did not install the resonator chingadera. I got use to the minimal amount of drone - and I drive a ton - up to 2k miles a month.

It’s a great system. Makes a lot of noise when you want it to, otherwise pretty quiet.

I currently have a MBRP that was only like $250. It sounds pretty good. A little loud for my liking. Has a bit of drone which I don’t like. For the price it’s alright.

Ultimately I would like one of the Dirty Deeds 8” stainless exhaust.

I spoke with Keith (DD) this past week. Not only did I purchase the 8" but I also received a tremendous amount of support and information. To be honest I don't know any company that provides as much Customer Service as DD. I explained to Keith what I was looking for and what I was thinking of doing. By the time I hung up with him I had no doubts. Now just waiting for delivery. Keith, thanks again for all your help and your expertise.
