My son and I are going to try and plan a weekend trip to do some beginning level off-roading and some camping (once we get some free time from baseball/softball). I was thinking of going to Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, IN. Anyone ever been there?

Hey Guys! My name is Terrill and I'll be moving out to the Bolingbrook or Darien area in June. Below is a picture of my truck. It's lifted with a pop up camper on the back. Looking forward to hanging out.

Welcome Terrill, I'm Patrick. Dope ass truck! I'd be curious to see what places you find to go around here with your truck.

Hey Patrick, and thanks! I've already started looking into places but sadly I don't see as much as I hoped. I'm coming from Maryland and within 3-4 hours drive we have access to some cool places. The good thing about the Chicago area is it's location to other parts of North America; basically in the middle of everything.

Maryland! I've never been but would love to go visit one day. Yeah, it is nice to be so close to so many states, but yeah I haven't found much in terms of places to go explore with the truck and the family. Best of luck on the move!

That is where our supervisor told us where we're going to meet up for work, our job location site, so where would you recommend for me to get a hotel at?

Are you limited to a radius for daily travel to your site? If not, I’d look in Schererville, IN. maybe a 20 minute drive to Dolton.

No not limited, furthest I've driven was one way 40 miles from hotel to job site, that's cause there was no hotels in that small town

I would look at Schererville then. Nicer area, more to “do”. Just traffic kinda sucks. You’ll be safer there too.

It’s Rough in Dolton and the surrounding neighborhoods I live 45 min 27 miles North and work 25 min 18 miles North of Dolton Traffic is heavy but that’s all over the Chicagoland area.

Mt Greenwood is about 21 min 9 miles from Dolton Irish Neighboorhood it’s nice their not sure if theirs hotels but it’s much safer but remember your still in Chicago it’s Rough here now I lived here all my life it is what it Is unfortunately

Lots of folks come here to
Schererville for construction jobs. Things are just cheaper in Indiana and you don’t risk getting shot as much as Dolton.

(crazy though, half of the towns around here are run by people that ruined doltonw)
