While this may not help, Hewitt-Tech himself commented about P1613 in a post at Tundrasolutions 2 months ago. Hopefully a call to them will produce good results.

Thanks a ton for that follow up and the link . . . . this doesn't sound good.
Everything went very smoothly on the install . . . took my time splicing into the correct wires at the harness, and carefully soldered them, liquid electrical tape, then regular electrical tape over that, then wrapped the harness itself. No snags.

I hope I'm not screwed on this deal. Does anyone know if it'll go into limp mode with code P1613 ? I need to use the truck.

Have no experience with SAIS and can only add that in thread linked, it does go into Limp for one poster within 24hrs. If you did not read whole thread, suggest you take a gander, possible helpful comments.
Hewitt-Tech did add something that begs the question....did you double check wiring colors given comment you made previously about color.

Yes, I had a non-color blind person with me who confirmed the wire colors in the instruction, the colors on the kit, and the colors on the harness.
I stripped the insulation of each wire on the harness about 1/2 inch, stripped the wires in the kit about 3/4 of an inch, wrapped them around the harness wires 3-4 turns, applied a little flux, then soldered them and got good saturation of solder. Let them cool, painted some liquid electrical tape on each. After that dried I wrapped each individually with electrical tape, then re-wrapped the whole bundle back together.

I guess there's still a chance I did the wrong wires, but I did drive it for a day before the light came back on. I was very careful to not pinch the wires on the 'driver' unit, and secured the plugs well with a zip tie leaving slack in the wires.

Have confidence you did a good job after seeing that explanation. I do know the 2006 FSM does confirm they are doing the proper connectors/colors. Might be a lot of work but if you're questioning wrong wires, ain't but one way to find out and not assume wrongly.

Yes, those 2 bottom diagrams came in the detailed instruction manual.
Very helpful in locating the right wires because of the yellow high-lites and number designation.
I'm wondering if the driver unit from Hewitt is faulty, I doubt it but you never know.
I'll be calling them 1st thing monday morning and report back.
Man I'm praying this is something simple.
    Thanks for your help.

Update: I disconnected the battery, waited a 1/2 hour and re-connected it.
Started it up and no code. I've driven it about 10 miles so far, and started it / turned it of about 10 times.
Still no code. Fingers crossed that everything is good to go, and will update if anything else pops up.

Take it on a longer spin, not quite long enough to activate and test readiness codes

Sorry if someone already said this above, I'm too lazy to scroll up. Wasn't there something weird about the SAIS valves, that they needed to be in a specific state of open/closed, else it throws extra codes? Maybe the last time you ran it, the valves went into closed state at shutdown, and it may have been that which cleared you up versus the actual cable pull?

I spoke with a person at Hewitt and he mentioned that the block off plates aid in preventing other codes along with protecting the down wind pressure sensors.
They were cool and said to keep them posted if any related codes come back.

Yeah . . . so far . . . just that P1613 the day after installation . . . but cleared it and so far so good.
Told the guys at Hewitt about it & that You had the same deal . . . they're on it . . . they keep a 'file' of anyone with feedback good or bad . . . they're SOLID and I have total confidence in them.
    Good Peeps.
