    Maybe it’s because you’re the thing that’s older now… ?

On your truck, I do too. This is the main reason I promptly bailed on the gunmetal RACELINES I had on my truck for a day or two.

Limited trim trucks seem to look better with alloy/bright wheels, it just ties in with all the silvery trim much better.

I’d also think about vinyl wrapping your chrome bumpers. If you can find a vinyl that’s roughly similar.

It could be. When I think about the SHOs they don't feel old either, even though they were 91s. But the difference's between them and the truck aren't much technologically speaking. Sure it's OBD I vs OBD II, but inside felt the same.

I will say, the vibe of pre-1990s vehicles is definitely different. Vehicles up thru the 60s/early 70s had heavily-metal interiors, truck dashes were nearly all metal with plastic bezel for the gauges.

Vehicle interiors up thru the 80s were plastic, boxy, etc. and it felt markedly different when they moved more into the molded, textured, rounded plastics of the 1990s. Thinking about the late 70s, up into the 80s here, picture how radicatlly different this is than anything modern. Our trucks look markedly more modern than this, much closer to current vehicles than these do ...

Yup. My buddy's truck had no carpet, and no dash material. Just bare metal everywhere. Didn't even have a radio.

plastic headlights and airbags ruined vehicles. Just go buy a disposable transportation unit and enjoy a throttle & steering wheel while you can.

4 runner wheels have a better offset for these trucks than the Tacoma wheels, both fit but the Tacoma wheels will be deeper in the wheel well.
Some people run spacers with the Tacoma wheels, I didn’t and they were fine but when I switched to 4R wheels they look better.

Give me some old 80/90's VAG /BMW interior. Those were my favorite. Truck wise, partial to 70's early 80's look. K5 ETC.

KTM knows the drill, on fb and cl pretty much anything you see off Tacomas and 4Runners will fit the first gen Tundras perfectly.

I bought these guys with tires, lug nuts and tpms for $450. They're off a 2014 Tacoma.

FTFY. They've updated the latest year to use the same smaller hub bore as the 2022+ Tundras, IIRC.

Toyota, just gotta make things hard for a fanatic.
