    I went the Tacticool route. Instead of cutting the straps or making holes in them, I just rolled them up and zip tied across really tight. It's been holding up well and hasn't moved.

    This is really only necessary for the big ass water bottles that don't fit in any of the trucks cupholders, including the doors. Pulls double duty for Gatorades too.

    You'll be happy with it! It's really nice having my emotional support water bottle handy but not taking up the primary cup holders for coffee, drive thru, etc.

    Thanks for this OP. This is a much better solution than the Swigzy and opens up a cupholder for the wife. It took a $25 gift certificate to REI to finally go buy the chalk bag. If you have a big water bottle, this gets it done.

    I didn't do much other than use a big zip tie to attach the loops together. I pried back the edge of the trim and stuffed it all in the hole above the little compartment. No cutting or holes, one zip tie, and it took two minutes.

    Ha, great thread! I'm driving down to Chesapeake for the week so I wanted to get a quick solution. I went with the cheap (but fast delivery)
    $15 Chalk Bag for Rock Climbing, Climbing Chalk Bag for Bouldering with 2 Large Zipper Storage Pockets, Premium Gym Chalk Bag for Weightlifting, Great Gift and Rock Climbing Gear, Gray
    Amazon chalk bag that I simply cut the loops so they became a single strap, then rolled them up and zip tied them, then popped the console and installed. Great solution for my 36oz Yeti that was $15 and 10 minutes of my time.
