    It just occurred to me that you mentioned you'll be doing the trip this winter, make sure and check the weather conditions a day or so before coming towards Flagstaff, snow can result in road closures. A couple of feet of snow isn't uncommon up there during the winter months.

    I definitely will do that. I'm used to the Scottsdale/ Tucson area so I thought most of AZ was like that. But my room mate from Flag told me that I was wrong. I never imagined any part of AZ getting snow until I met this guy.

    You'll likely get to see a snow capped Mt Lemmon from your campus this winter, it's a sight to see.
