Searched the creak/rattle thread looking for specifics regarding noise from this location to see if anyone else has experienced this noise and could not find anything. Primarily heard when traveling over deep cracks or unlevel transitions in roadways where it jars the truck hard. Appears to come from console around shifter or just above in lower dash area. I have the center console out and wanted to add some sound dampening material to see if that would help. Much appreciated.

Guessing you have, but make sure all of the clips on the back are intact and fully engaged when the console is seated.

(Also, if anyone has a line on one, I’m looking for an entirely new OEM lower console since mine has some scratches. If so, please PM. Thanks!)
