I got one from Sparks Toyota for my 2010. Should be the same for yours. Mounted a couple different magnet mounts before I dropped it in. Super easy install and couldn't be happier with the product.

What is it... some kind of local trouble? Or are you trying to avoid any Imperial entanglements?

I put that same one in my 2016. Took ten minutes bc I’m a little slow. Easily hold my pistol and Ka bar knife in the locked part. Feels solid. I don’t have qualms about leaving my gun locked in it at all times.

What happens to the extra charging port in the console, did you have to modify it? The one on Amazon, that I like says it’s for 2014 thru 2019 with a 5.7 motor, which I have no idea what the motor has to do with it. I have a 2007 limited, will it work, I guess I can try it and if it doesn’t, send it back?????

It has a cutout for the charging port. Doubt the motor size matters but the console on a 2007 I think is different than a 2014-2019 so I wouldn’t think the safe would properly fit.

Thank you, I think I agree, I found one on EBay, $275, says it’s for a 2007 thru 2013. We will see

It should fit perfectly. You’ll love it. It was the perfect solution for me when I wanted a secure place to keep my EDC gun.

I put in the Lock’er Down basic model with 4 digit combo lock in my ‘07. Fits perfectly. Nice unit, very solid 10 gauge steel. Made in the USA. Super nice people work there too which makes it an even better experience. Highly recommended.

All that said, would not advise leaving firearm in console safe overnight or really for any extended period in which the vehicle could be trespassed. A determined thief with a little time, and a hammer and crowbar could get into it pretty easily.

This unit is best viewed as a deterrent to thieves, and a very important safety device if transporting children, teenagers, or others who should not have access to a stored firearm.

It would take some time to get into it. They sell to alot of law enforcement agencies as well so you know its good stuff.

Agreed. It is very solid. It would take time and a lot of force to breach. I wish I had ordered the extra heavy duty model with the reinforced lid. Overall I am very happy. The fit is absolute precision.

Just got an email from Consolevault they're running a 50% OFF sale on Toyota Tundra 1/2 safes until March 24th. I think I'm going to go for it at $149.50 with free shipping seems like a decent deal.

I got my truck used...and had it shipped to my house. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the center console to see my console vault. The salesman never mentioned the truck had one, or listed the feature. I use mine everyday...I just need to find a holster that can I can install so my gun does not move around and same with extra mags.

You’ll either have to modify one or get a gun magnet
