Only had mine about a week but the mods have already started flowing lol. So far: Gator cover, magnaflow exhaust, wildpeak tires, baja designs fog lights, TRD skid plate, added the cheap ceramic coat to the paint myself. Tinting the windows today and adding my ditch lights this weekend. Have a pair of 6" Rigid round spot lights trying to figure how where I'm going to mount those.

My last 3 trucks were all built Tacomas, was pretty worried about limiting my offroad adventures by stepping in to a full size but took my Tundra out to the desert this past weekend to break her in and she did surprisingly well! Made it down some pretty technical trails, flexed her stuff, and in the dirt the torque 5.7L loves to get her sideways :mudding::burnrubber:.

Powersliding/drifting my Tacomas took a lot of encouragement and aggressive counter-steer to encourage that tail to whip around... but with the tundra just slight steering input and lay into that gas and BOOM power slides for days. Much fun and I'm now a believer in V8s :)

For style I plasti dipped my hood scoops and lower front bumper just to try to break up the sea of blue a little bit. Came out better than expected! So probably going to go back and redo it with vinyl, as well as probably do the roof to match.

I like the blacked out grille look too. I can not really tell from the photos. Was the bulge blacked out too? How about the rear bumper?

Fixed the pictures. I was in a hurry so I didn't get to get pictures of the rear but they blacked those out too

New to the forum... picked this up just before Christmas. Finally got the 3” level on the front and 295/70R18 on XD rims. Front windows tinted to match rear and 25% ceramic wrap on the windshield. Couple other small mods coming soon...

Metro Detroit area if there are any other members from that area!

I’m thinking I might raptor line mine when it warms up. All black bumpers look pretty sharp now that I see it.

There aren't many cavalry blue tundras in my town, this thread makes me want one bad. I always liked the color but all the pics in this thread confirm how much I like it. Maybe it's time for a 2020 LOL

I love my cavalry blue Tundra! Looks different in different light. Not very many around here either. My wife also loves it which sealed the deal to upgrade from our f150.
Only other colors I covet from time to time are the mgm and cement. New green looks sharp too. Toyota definitely giving us some good choices color wise imo.

I started to do the front bumper caps. it was a good effort but failed lol

Color was close but the plasti dip was a little “bright” vs our color. I knew this after seeing it in the sun so I tried to mix in some black to darken it but it didn’t work out so I aborted the mission before it got too dried.

it started to look good too!

Has anyone found a close vinyl wrap that matches Cavalry Blue yet? Thinking of wrapping my chrome bumper caps.

I bought some spray paint from Home Depot that others had recommended. Just wondering if it will look good on our color...

I think so. The rear sway bar has grown on me and is the reason I would like to do the front tow hooks in the same/similar red.
