I'm so confused by the lights. The blinker is the strip in the middle? When do the top and bottom parts do their animation (not sure what else to call it)? Either way, they look good and I hope they last!

Yep, blinker is the strip in the middle, it’s sequential. The animation starts on start up and stops once the brake is engaged.

Love the shells I’ve been seeing on the Calvary blue trucks. Been thinking about one myself. Which one did you go with?

    Bumpershellz put on today.

Black & Blue transformation is almost complete. Just waiting for my rims to arrive in January.

They stand out like a sore thumb right now as they are the only clean part of my truck.. They are a perfect match to the factory bumper pieces and my bed lined surround.

It was a fun DIY project that our 13y old son helped me with front start to finish.

I might have to swap my little red, yellow, and orange stickers for that heritage emblem. The grill looks really clean.

I keep going back and forth in rims. Do I go Black rims or keep stock aluminum 5 spoke?

We have a set of Black Rhino Stadium +10 on order. No matter what, we will be putting on Falken Wildpeak 275/70/18 on the truck.

These OEM wheels hit a nostalgia point for me as they remind of of my Hot Wheels when I was a kid.

I feel that you couldn’t go wrong with either of them. Use the ones on order for the Falkens.

Keep them both and paint or powder the OEM ones and get them wrapped with a winter tire..

Yeah, that had crossed my mind. The stock BFG tires suck, so no matter what, we aren't keeping those. I probably wouldn't make squat selling the rims either.

Maybe I pick up a set of winter tires and mount them on the stock rims and use those 4-5 winter months and enjoy the black rims and agressive tires/look of the Falken and BR rims for the rest of the year.

Having the back wheels and K02’s on my truck bring me so much joy. I think they were worth every penny and when I thought about doing just the tires it really felt like I was just doing half the job. But that’s me.

For me, having the wheels and tires changed it from being a tundra to being MY tundra

Keep both sets of wheels, replace the crap tires on the OEMs with good tires, swap sets as mood dictates... or, as you said, as the season dictates. Win.

I think that's what I'll do. The extra set may come in handy (winter tires) and I can even have them powder coated or play around with DIY paint etc or just leave as is.

    Win win.
