Nice. How do you like the Predator steps? I'm in need of a step solution. I'm considering these and the Classic Running Boards (PT925-34181).

 

They came with the truck...honestly I wanted the amp electric steps....but they are ok. You can usually find the predators on Craigslist cheap....i see them in Georgia for a few hundred bucks often. I have Bamf sliders on the Tacoma which I love

 

I see. I just need something to mitigate my butt cheek slide across the seat in hopes of preventing seat damage.

 

They will work for that and get a driver's side grab handle also

So when I did the color matching grill, I couldn’t put my front facing camera in the same spot, which was centered under the grill emblem so I moved it on top, but had raptor lights so the camera was never centered. Well my OCD had enough and I redid the raptor lights in order to move the front camera centered

Here Roman explains his suggestion for “onyx black” handles from the store for taking to a body shop for painting/color match. Exact part numbers can be found inside the store...

Perhaps, even take your original flat/matte black ones to have color matched.

Being a bencher... I felt the lacking of a cup holder at dash level...









... and believe it or not, I have had one liter bottled sodas fit in this thing without struggle!



This was definitely a satisfying mod and feliz cumple to me present

yeah, it installed correctly!







I am now three (3) things away from completing the interior. Leather upholstered air outlet dash pieces on each end to match the two-tone (black and pacific) katskins!

Katskins shall be ordered in about two-ish weeks!

I have not. My work schedule is 7 days on 7 days off, and I'm on nights this hitch. My 3rd shift is ending as I post this, so I have 4 more to go. Plus I have to try and find a set of Falkens in the right size. I'd like to go with a local shop, but I may have to go for something in UT when I'm down there on my days off. Believe me, when they are on, there will be pics.

This is cool . It reminds me of my fj with the color matched interior pieces. What are you using for paint? I've been thinking about doing black and and blue Clazzio seats. I'm anxious to see how your katskins look.

Thanks. I use a local paint supplier. They mix the 8W2 in rattle cans for me. Strong acrylics so far.







Yeah, I am kind of giddy anxious to see them installed too. Here is what I am going with. The Pacific color is a nice “in-between” color from their Cobalt blue and the Cavalry blue. I had the demo swatch held up to it and it looked great. So I will pull the trigger in a few weeks.

Post up pictures of the black and blue Clazzios when done!

Ordered my color matched door handles today from Sparks. They have to paint them and said it will take 5 weeks. Longer than expected but worth the wait.

 

It’s been slow going with mods. I just replaced my stock wheels with a set of 20” BBS wheels from a 2014 Sequoia That I had stripped and powder coated. I will start the chrome delete shortly.

 

Does anyone have a set of rear color matched bumper colors for sale? Damaged my rear driver side recently.

So I am getting ready to lift my 2020 Limited TRD offroad( and put my SCS bronze wheels and 35" trail Grapplers) and in the process of doing a chrome delete.

My painter is going to paint the chrome door handles, the mirror covers, the hood buldge, the grill surround (purchased a 2014-2017 trd pro grill surround as I like the older version better)and the front bumper end caps.

My question to everyone is do they like the black center portion of the bumper or should I just paint the entire bumper blue like the sport?

when I first saw the sport with the scoop and all the blue I thought it was too much, however when I see one lifted on 35's the blue (minus the scoop ) doesn't bother me.

anyone care to chime in?

I think the black is a nice accent that makes the blue pop. Otherwise it kinda blurs together the same way black wheels blend into tires at any kind of distance.
