Yes indeed. If they want the cats bad enough, they are going to get them. However all these security precautions are going to make them really work for it.

    Too many, but not enough....
They could hit like 10 Priui in the time it would take to get my cats....

Millercat has an extension to cover the rear cats, but they are not yet back in stock. This covers the front half of the rear cats though.

The guys cutting these things off generally aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. They will just move on to an easier target. I have seen that most thefts occur in parking lots where they can get in out out really quickly. They don’t want to spend more then a few minutes.

Makes sense. I was concerned if I a cat shield is installed, would they just remove the shield (with a correct drill hex head) and be as quick at removing the shield as one could be taking off a tire with a impact wrench, but as you mentioned, sounds like they would see the shield, and then, funk-dat, move on to the next. Thanks!

Thos is meant to be a visual deterrent more than an actual, I can't take it off, I agree that is they look at the undercarriage and see that it going to take more time that someone else's, they will move on. particularly in a public parking place. Thie cost me less than $50 to make

Thanks for great idea! I got the front millercat plate and just ordered the rear panels. Will fill them up with superglue!
