Looks like Taco Tunes is throwing their hat into the ring with their own version. They're only offering front cat protection for the moment. 3/16" aluminum and only fits non-lifted and leveled rides. They say it'll work on Readylifts with "modifications" but no other lifts.

Cost is $375 + free shipping, security bolts and wrench. Get $25 off with the protectmytundra code.

They also have some for 2022 applications for $350.

Looks like they will protect the front cats (main) but the rear resonators a.k.a. rear cats are open game still...cheap and available tho!

    Toyota-installed 4" lift & 305/55/20 tires on Fuel Wheels.
Gotta give props to Toran Fabricating Inc. in Katy, Texas. (Ebay seller = "Krtor") I have a 4" RC lift w/ their crossmembers & most of these places told me "won't work". Toran makes one that does. Aluminum or steel, well-vented & 'in front only' or 'full coverage' for all 4 cats. I got the aluminum full-coverage one ($400) & they installed it! And they have these in stock & ready to ship.

A veteran & family owned & operated business that actually cares about their customers - increasingly rare these days. Their shields are being distributed to most of the Houston area Toyota dealerships, too.

Now we're talking! 1/4" thick! I got the 3/16" cat security on my 4"raised 2013 tundra. Installed with three different types of bolts. Either way, I think they'll go on to the next car unfortunately for them.

What's the biggest difference you see in the lifted vs non lifted applications?

I just love the look of slightly lifted. And around my area always a good idea to be a little higher in case of high water.

Did you end up doing the rivnut as well or just using the two outer holes on the rear cross member? Did they include a spacer for the little gap on the bottom if the crossmember or was it need at all?

I read about the hassles of shipping and want to add that UPS used to ship boxless. I shipped 4 alloy rims bolted together with allthread once without a box. Greyhound bus lines also ships large items. The latter may be a PITA though.

I got the cat security plates from cali... better to fork out 700.00 now. Than 500 deductible later, and still not have protection. Better to get the ultimate package. The idiots don't know the first two are resonators...

He needs to make it modular so it ships smaller and flatter.

It would be the same protection, it would just require some assembly by the end user.
