Cat Trouble

Ok guys. I can't be the only one who has trouble with neighborhood cats. A wash only last till dark and inevitably the next morning there are cat sprays on my back glass from sitting on my bed cover or nice sprays on my windshield and skid marks down the hood. They definitely maintain a healthy schedule of stopping by often to freshen the truck up. Unfortunately, I can't rule out my own family cat as having a part in this nefarious plot to drive me crazy! What do I do?

 

Bitter Apple for cats or maybe a sound repellent.

 

Moth balls are supposed to keep them away...not sure how you'd make that convenient though...

 

Pellet gun....

 

Cat nip. Sprinkle some on your cover and they’ll associate you as a great cat lover and move the spray business down the street.

 

Good advice....but pellet gun as backup.

Maybe try spraying your own truck to keep them away, although I wouldn't recommend this approach. . I actually have a neighbor across the street that feeds all of the strays in our neighborhood. The cats used to come over and climb on our cars and sleep there at night...pissed me off. The cats wouldn't come near me except for one, luckily he was the one climbing on our cars....I was never able to pick him up, but I was able to convince him to climb in the back seat of our Corolla (to get some sliced ham). Needless to say, I shut the door behind him and drove a couple miles away and released him in another neighborhood. No more problems at my house. I love animals, but this cat scratching up our cars had to go.

 

Garlic spray from petco. Strong smell tho but does keep the wild felines away

Have you tried not changing their shitbox for an entire month? That will make them piss in the bathtub.

Put a bigger cat in your truck with the window open just enough.

 

Mouse traps on the cover. They get hit with one of those bad boys and that’ll be the last time they jump up on there.

 

Put your neighbors food bowl all over his cars.

I get people that have sympathy for strays, but don’t make them my problem too. Do enough to get them off the street, not make it a public free for all for cats and bother ALL of your neighbors.

 

Get your self a good watch dog.

 

Id deal with it. Maybe they're hanging out for a reason. Mice chewing up your electrical system is far worse.

Tell your neighbor to keep their cats inside.

If they are stray then get a have a heart trap and trap them.

 

I use a Red Ryder BB gun, n we have cats all around this hood, due to 3 old ladies that walk around early, one of them carries a bag of food and places on everyone's driveway, I've asked her repeatedly to stop, she continues to place food in my driveway, she needs a BB in the ass, along with the cats

 

They used to pee on my wheels all the time. Pissed me off LOL never figured out how to stop it. Eventually it just kind of subsided.
