Has anyone here run their truck across a cat scale to see the true curb weight? Google tells me my crewmax 4x4 weighs 5680 but I have a feeling its over 6000 lbs. I need to get to the scale but the nearest one is 45 min away.

Just went to get top soil and they had a certified scale. 2018 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 TSS weighed 5900 with ~14 gallons of gas (38 gal tank) in it. I guess the 4x4, nerf bars, rims and KO2s add some weight. I assume my true max payload is GVWR - curb weight = 1300. Assuming I would need an additional 24 gallons of gas to fill it up (6.3 x 24 =151 lbs), my fully fueled curb weight would be 6050 thus bringing my payload capacity to 1150. Does this sound correct or does fuel not count against payload?

CAT scale printouts show 4 different weights and 'curb weight' is not one of them. The last weight on the print out is what CAT calls Gross Weight, that number is your certified weight.

CAT scale *Gross Weight including 26 gallons of fuel, me, and probably 50 pounds of gear: 5480 pounds

That's weird. Here it takes me back to the image stored on Postimage.org.
