I live in the Shreveport area, most of my 40 years. Looking for a change tho. Lived in Colorado for a while and I am thinking of going back. Maybe cats are safer there! Food just isn't the same anywhere else tho!

Ok! I hijacked her from the repair shop today! Found a muffler shop that will weld me some pipes on. Anyone have a link to some o2 sensor simulator

Cel, but I only went a few blocks. Gonna go a couple of miles tomorrow to the muffler shop. I guess I will see how it goes.

    Get 2 sets of these.

Drill out a set, as big as you can, weld those to the pipes, then the 2nd set you drill out progressively bigger until the cel goes away. Then screw the o2’s in. My titan has a magnaflow, so more resrtiction might require more spacing, but you just need to keep the rear sensors cooler. On the titan, like ive said. Drive by wire and vvti might not be happy with the easy solution. And those systems sortta scare me. Like skynet.

although, a search of o2 simulators or o2 spacers showed there are spacers with little pieces of catalyst. Anyone know if those will work on anything but turbo cars?

i could sell these ‘toyota oem’ if i make it out of my cat guttings and possibly make thousands.

what do you think it costs to have a thief steal a converter, vs selling a converter yourself, vs making hundreds of $100 doodads?

Sorry this took me so long to post. This is the coverage provided by the 3 Skid Row skid plates, as viewed from the back: 32C80396-9124-4993-AE62-6B895FBA8C9F.jpg

This is what’s visible from the driver’s side:

Edit: I just caught up. Now I feel bad, “highjacking” the thread back to the original topic. :anonymous:

I wanted to share a cat/skid plate for 2007+ Tundra and 2008+ Sequoia. Don't know if he makes first gen. . I picked one of these up locally today which is quite a bit more affordable then some others I found. He'll ship as well. I also added this motion/heat alarm to my Tundra undercarriage. Cateye Electronic Alarm | catstrap. Both companies are small business and when you call they answer or call back. Tom at Cateye helped me troubleshoot some things as I needed to extend the wiring length for the sensor portion. Easy to install with the exception of extending the cable. They've also improved the alarm to automatic arming and disarming. Although these aren't theft proof, the plate paired with the undercarriage alarm help me sleep better at night. I'll be installing the plate with security screws this evening.upload_2021-8-19_12-50-52.jpg
