IMG_5610.jpg All that really matters is you like it.. congrats.
I'd like to see the welds or connections but it does look like high temp black bbq paint on a Walker muffler welded to standard run-of-the-mill exhaust pipe. The NDT looks like the Magnaflow system.

I will stick with TWC's system. TIG welds you can see and superior stainless steel materials.

Would the TRD Dual tailpipe kit bolt up to your TigWeldingCreations exhaust? I just like the look of dual tail pipes...

Anyone have any input or experience with the Corsa exhaust on the Gen3 tundras?
Their sound is different but I can’t gauge loudness of their videos because they put the mic right next to the tailpipe.

Still loving the sound of my TWC exhaust too! Perfect match and quality at every level. Completely happy with the product, purchase process and results! If you're a Gen3 owner you will love this mod!

small v6 sound is not my cup of tea really, but I was curious if there was a dyno done with these?

It does look like nice work for sure

Do you have any screenshots/pdfs of the dyno runs pre and post exhaust? Curious to see where the 25-30hp gains come on at.

    ok,

what about just the exhaust and the torque, ive seen a lot that offer HP way up top but lose low end torque. the beauty of this set-up is the 479 at 2,400, not so much on the 389 up top...

thanks for the reply, has the dyne run sheet ever been posted or available?

    fair enough and understood.

I would retort slightly though, yes it's not a race car where high RPM HP is critical. But they are trucks and torque and low end torque is critical to pull and pull well as you stated they are 6K lbs bricks. A 6K brick isn't going to pull and tow very well if it loses low RPM torque or the peak shift upwards.

Just to be clear, Im in no way, shape, or form, trying to put down your product or anything at all.

It just over the years Ive seen most exhausts lose low end toque off-idle but most advertises, Hey look here, we gain HP at 5500-6K RPM

trucks don't really need to focus on HP, they need to focus on low end torque, thats where you tow and pull at. The tundra 10 speed keeps it right at 2-3 rpm really well while towing, so Im not as interested in 6K RPM gains.

I think the time and money would be well spent getting a stock tundra on the dyno with your exhaust only and if the numbers at 2-2,400 are better, that would help you sell way more IMO.

eitherway, wish you the best and thanks for the info and time.

If the system DD sells make any additional power I say the TWC system makes equal or more. But I'd say the majority of buyers make there decision based on sound, quality and price. A few HP resultant from exhaust sysyems for street vehicles does not amount to a hill of beans.

These trucks don't need more towing power. If a person wants more towing power they need a 250 or 350 for frame, suspension, braking and raw horsepower. An exhaust system will not bring that power to any manufacturer half ton truck.

Lot of purse swinging to sift through but I just wanted to add my experience with the Stillen.

super straight forward and easy install, sounds decent on startup but I HATE the drone that’s present. Probably adds a decent amount of power but I just cannot move past the drone. For me, most of my driving is around 70-80mph on highway so that puts me at 1800-2200 RPM and it’s just like back in my H22 CD5 Honda days. I knew coming into it that it wouldn’t be amazing sound so was hoping I could overlook it due to power add since I have the tru-control and pre-ordered the intakes. I just wanted a one stop shop for some extra fun on my drives and stillen fit the bill.

I tried to order the TRD pro dual tips and just go back to stock muffler but can’t seem to catch one in stock anywhere. Wondering what the TRD one they intended for the performance packages will sound like and if/when it will be released.

Ask Stillen. All I can say is I had the OEM toyota dual exhaust which does nothing other than give you two exhaust tips on the end of a piece of pipe - but it removes the resonator so they got that going for them. Had a Carven - thought it would be the answer- it was only a drone making fart can no one wants and I don't blame them. The TWC provides an amazing tone and no drone and despite what some say (100% those who don't own one) it is not a fart can. Pure quality in materials, TIG welds, materials and sound. IMO Toyota should put TWC on every Gen3 Tundra coming off the assembly line.

Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
I notice you said you have a JB4. With the JB4, did you have to go to premium fuel?

not on map 1. I think map 2-3 require premium and 4-5 require some sort of ethanol blend, up to E30 on 5
