Just wanted to share my experience in dealing with this company and their customer service. I bought the Magnetic Dash Car Phone Mount - Core 360. Came in and I installed it, quick peel and stick mount. Tried to put my phone on it and it just hangs loosely. Not a problem, just tighten the adjustment screw so it doesn’t slop around from the weight of the phone. The problem is you can’t line up the small washer to the small magnetic washer it mounts to without having to look closely under the back of your phone and make sure it’s lined up. If not you’ll miss the magnet every time. The magnetic washer and mating steel washer is literally about as big as a 5/8 steel hardware washer. There’s no way you can be driving and just put your phone on it. You need to be sure you’ve got them lined up and put them together BEFORE you start driving. So any reason to remove your phone while driving you can forget about placing it back on the mount until your stopped so you can again look under the back of the phone to make sure the two washers mate up together. I contacted their customer service and was promptly told that they would refund only 50% of my cost and return shipping is on me also. Thing cost $33.00 shipped, so $16.50 refunded and what, $8.00 - $10.00 to ship it back?! You can do the math there, ain’t much left. Reasoning is that since I “used” it, they will only refund 50%. I told them, yea I used it all of 10 minutes! How else is someone supposed to know if they’re satisfied with their product without using it?! Their slogan: “100% Satisfaction Guarantee - Love it or Your Money Back”! I even reminded him of their slogan. He said yes but you used it. So much for that crap! The customer service rep I spoke with literally argued with me. Never again!

I know they are more expensive, but you will not regret Pro Clip USA mount.

Everyone who sees my Scosche buys one afterwards.
No one that I know has regretted it.

That design just looks stupid to me and as you point out works that way too.
