I am new to Tundra but not to Toyota. I started with my Tacoma decided I wanted my FJ and as family grew and my needs expanded so did the power in my vehicle. Next is fixing her up, so since I went black I want to get extreme and take out all that chrome... Tho not complete with out that lift with wheels and tire. Can't wait to be able to afford it all. I will be starting with the accents and I am a novice please share all you advice and helpful hints! I look forward to seeing all of your triumphs and pictures!

Welcome, show some pics. I plasta dipped all my badges black, and removed badge on tailgate. It's easy and cheap.

Welcome and congrats from Western PA. There are few of us who like the chrome look. I think Tundra looks sweet either way.

I agree with chphilo, they look awesome either way, but mods are never ending. Look at some builds on the site and you will be overcome by everything you can do. I will say get the Devil Horns from Diaz Fabrication. I have it on mine. uploadfromtaptalk1424649000379.jpg

    Welcome!
I used black plastic spray paint (same color Toyota uses per the bottle) to paint my badges.

I also switched out the chrome mirror caps to the black oem ones.

I have added steps, tow mirrors, vent visors and husky weather beaters floor liners. I would like to level it soon and put the OEM 20" wheels on it from a platinum model with a beefy tire. Have to say, I would strongly suggest the tow mirrors. They are awesome!

I could of used the tow mirrors yesterday with my first load of hay. Tho I must say it was nice and easy loading her up. Only I was not able to afford the Berliner so she looks a bit used already. I am already noticing the floor mats collecting it all and totally miss my fj rubber mats, so those are on my list too!

I can't wait to lift and my level plus get my new rims and tires! Wish I was rich. I'll go with 17's tho I love a lot of tire in my look!

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
I'm going for the all black too. Have a little left to do.
Plastidip is a cheap easy way to black out the badges, grill surround and bumpers. If you don't like it you can always peal it off.
    Oh and welcome!
