About right. Stock duelers/height to new lift/tires. Comes with the territory. Keep on fracking.

Just a recap, I made that same trip this weekend In the rental lol...so in truck cruise control at 75 all the way avg 11mpg, fueled up twice both ways. In the bitchin' sonata we cruise control set at 90 (sometimes 95) avg 33mpg got here with almost half a tank -.- the harsh reality is we will never come close to those numbers and it blows. Funny thing is I got rear ended sitting at a red light in the rental as well. Nothing big this time but Def noticable. The guy did have insurance this time around so I felt a lot better.

Talked to the adjuster finally on friday. The shop owner didn't help me out when he told the adjuster the frame was repairable -.- I did ask him if he could just say he didn't want to take that risk of fixing the frame to which he responded "I make a lot of business with a lot of insurances and I'm not going to perjure myself" so my insurance gave me 2 options....pay the deductible, get the truck fixed, and file a loss of value claim with allstate the dealer will put a number as to how much the hit affected the value and allstate gives me a check for that amount. OR see how much the dealer gives me for the truck as is and take that amount plus a check for the amount of the repairs.

Remind me to never, ever let you drive my vehicle...ever. You have the worse luck!

So what decision are you going to go with?

Crazy man. That is three now huh (mirror, truck rear ended and rental car rear ended). I agree with @matluth , you should be good to go now.
As Sean asked, what is your decision?

haha no, thankfully never saw a cop or state trooper in over 750 miles.

I wanted to trade it in as is and get the repair money and just find another one. probably was going to get stuck with something without lift and wheels/tires like on mine but atleast I wouldn't be upside down trading for a new one. Unfortunately my wife cant seem to part ways with the truck as she loves the look of it so its getting repaired, then filing claim for loss of value...throw that check straight to the principal on the truck and see if then I can convince her on trade in or at least refinance the damn thing.

well long story short I wasn't taking no for an answer...lets just say they weren't too thrilled about me lawyering up

Should take 2 weeks for the truck to be here as they didn't have any white CM in stock

Also I came to my senses and really saw it wasn't much damage done to the frame as it did not transfer to the front end. it can be pulled back no problem so I offered to buy it back from the insurance waiting on their number so see if its feasible

yea I really didn't want to unless I completely had to since I haven't even finish paying my lawyer for taking care of my citizenship paperwork lol. He said just letting allstate know I was bringing in a lawyer should be more than enough to get the job done and he was right..after the last time they said they couldn't total it I told them my lawyer would be taking over from there after. They asked for his name and apparently it was enough for them to know it wasn't going to end well. Best attorney in town

Cool.. you know its bad when you have to bring lawyers into the mix. I have done it myself im good friends with 3 and one judge here. Its sad anymore. You pay good money to allstate and they want to screw you in the end.
