Canadian Prices 2022 Tundra

Well as expected the price has gone up and they have taken away content compared to the previous gen. That blows. To get what I have in my current SR5 TRD Sport I would have to get Limited TRD Off road, more than $10k over what I paid, and that still doesn't get me leather seats. Ridiculous! Guess I'll be hanging on to this one for a long time.

 

Interesting, SR5 TRD Sport does not come in army green or lunar rock but it does in the states. I think the sport would have sold well in Canada in these colours. Now I wait for the test drive...

I don't think it will be long until a silver delete kit will be available for the interiors. I can see a company like AJT Designs coming up with something.

I agree, the 8 inch screen looks way better.

 

oups ! nobody's note that according to the Toyota Canada website for exemple a 4X4 SR5 double cab 6.5 bed comes with the underpowered engine (348 hp) and the small gas tank despite the options group you choose (TRD sport or Off Road) !!!!???????

I think I am missing something.

1.) CM with 6.5 bed is the same wheelbase as DC 6.5?
2.) SR is still detuned (Lower HP-TQ) for the Canadian market as well, right?

 

worst than that ! the SR5 DC also comes with detuned engine ! please tell me it's an error from Toyota canada on the website.

 

Looks like you need to go to the long bed in order to get the larger fuel tank on the SR5 CrewMax. Either that or you need to get a Limited...

Well.... never pay 65000 $ (what i have to pay in quebec) for a SR5 DC 6.5 bed TRD offf road..... detuned and with a corolla gas tank !
they are crazy !

 

Larger fuel tank isn't listed as an option in the additional packages. Not impressed at all by that.

 

well, i think i will buy a US model and import it here, if it's true.

 

SR5 package gets the larger tank and standard power engine for both DC and crewmax 5.5ft bed

Disappointed you have to choose Limited to get the 14" headunit, folks in States can option a SR5 with the tech package that gives them the 14" headunit.

Platinum is already 86k after taxes, I guess Pro is going to be near 100k after taxes...............

 

On the US website they have the normal engine on all the SR5 models but in Canada it seems it's a different game......

 

Blackack, you're right, on the brochure the SR5 comes with the 489 hp engine and the larger full tank, but on the configurator , not. i hope a mistake from toyota canada on the configurator......

Good catch. Hopefully the brochure is accurate and the website is wrong.

 

Toyota.ca brochure says 6 speakers on Limited, dealers’ ordering guide says 9 speakers.

 

Seems like memory seat is standard on Limited, have never been able to confirm this.

 

Did you happen to notice the 5% interest rate? Yikes, that's high for this financial environment.

 

Definitely looks like the website specs may be messed up. At least I hope so. All the SR5 get an EC mirror except the TRD Sport!?!?! Makes no sense some of the option applicability on the site. Another example is the integrated brake controller. Near the top it does not come on the TRD models but then at the very bottom they have it again and it is standard option. Bizzare!

100%, almost every other domestic manufacturer offers 0.49 - 1.99 in todays market. 4.99 is BS.

It’s in the spec sheet. Yes memory seats and mirrors included on limited. But not the steering wheel.

 

I was wondering if it's just included on all Canadian trucks like on the 2.5 gen.

 

This is where Toyota Canada is trying to capitalize on the sale, they won't sell above MSRP but they are going to offer horrible interest rates to the customer to make extra dollars.

 

Toyota has always had stupid high interest rates on its trucks.
