Buy a 3rd gen, then you can buy his plates.

 

As a matter of fact yes, I just test fit a plate today, needs very minor adjustments but was planning to add it to the website tomorrow once I get the pricing sorted (which you'll have to check back tomorrow to find out )

Picked up a shield off Myke yesterday afternoon and with the help of some forced child labour, got it installed last night

Fit and finish is top notch, installation is straight forward and it is great to support an Alberta small business

This is the MY22+ hybrid version. Would recommend!

 

You bet, should be around 33 lbs for both the plates and additional brackets. Fairly manageable as far as lifting and installing since you will be attaching each plate separately.

I would imagine the pricing will be similar to that of the 3rd Gen plates. It was very comparable to Talon's Garage and TahcoTunez after shipping and exhange.

For sure, the pricing will be fair! It will be more than the 3rd generation plate as there is quite a bit more to the plate since it’s covering 4 cats versus 2.

I price my plates so it makes sense for Canadian to buy Canadian.

Also these plates come with the security bolts included and if you are in the Edmonton area I’ll install it free of charge.

I had hoped to have the plates and pricing up last night but just need to gather some more details then very soon folks will be able to buy with shipping in the next two weeks.

I just ordered the Talons Garage Cat Shield and it won't fit the TRD Skid Plate like advertised without heavy mod due to the tab. Your design is great! Wish I found this sooner.

 

Anyone know how the cat shields affect transmission temps? I did install a cooler on my 19 but just curious if others have reported on this.

 

My plate showed up today. But most importantly, @Mykeromachine included a sticker.

 

@Mykeromachine any chance the 2nd gen can be ready by Friday? That would be a great day for me to head up there to buy my cat protection.

 

You should have no issue installing Talons Shield on your truck with the OEM TRD skid plate, just a bend in that tab is all it needs then the plate will fit under there, at least that is my assumption. Talon makes a great product and I am sure they have considered installation with the factory skid.
