With the tongue weight and cargo I’m going over the 1185lb capacity of the truck. That’s the capacity specified in the manual just double checked.

trailer weight falls into the tow capacity.

 

What does it say on the door sticker? I have a feeling it's even less, but may not be since my truck's door sticker is 1320 lb IIRC

 

I've got about 1250 on my sticker, I think. I haven't weighed anything but I'm sure my new trailer puts me over my limit, especially with a canopy and the spare tire on the hitch of the trailer.

Yup. I’d be snagging the Husky’s, but came into a next to new set of Weathertechs, as part of another deal. (I swore off Weathertechs, but the price of $0 was hard to turn down. )

Also, I’ve never seen anyone go thru more vehicles than Rob… haha.

 

2 things, glad if they get a good home, and if someone around Calgary wants them that would be perfect. Shipping would probably make things uselessly expensive.

1. metal oil filter housing (new). I was impatient on the first one and got the second from a dealership in Montana because I wanted to change my oil.....It will sit around forever. I'm glad I swapped from the plastic. $30 CDN (SOLD)

lol yup I have had some bad luck with a couple trucks and engine problems. Probably would be driving this one if I didn’t get more than I paid new for it trading it off.

Took persistence and many posts but I finally got $50 for mine after about a year and a half. Parts like that it's all about timing, just about luck for when someone gets one broken and doesn't want to pay dealer pricing.

 

Finally getting new tires, got a set of Yokohama X-AT for sale, has 30k km on it, I'd say about 60% on the treads, sizes are 285/75r18 , will fit Gen 2/2.5 with front flaps removed and will fit Gen 3 without any rubbing, no patch/plug, rotate every 5000km.

Alright guys, so swapped the new AT3W on, what a difference, I also noticed my Yoko had poor wearing pattern but still have 13/32nd of depth, so I can't sell them with my conscience, I'm letting 3 of them go for free, 2 have poor wearing pattern, while one is perfectly fine, if you are in GTA, I'm in Durham and prefer you come pick them up.

A recent travel trailer lesson learned for me:

I sold our trailer last month after buying a new one. Similar price range to yours. The amount of low ballers was ridiculous. To the point where I thought I priced it too high. There are just lots of trolls but also people trying to buy now, hold on to it a sell in the spring for a profit.

When it was all done, I had over 100 inquires, about 40 unseen offers that were 95% lowballs. The first person who saw it bought it for a very fair price.

Unless you’re in a rush, hang out with your price for a while. Travel trailers are selling for a good price.
