I'm going to call them and complain. Let them know it's BS. I just got 2 tablets shipped via usps and did not charge me with extra fees. Ems from China no fees, ems from Australia no fees.

So my OEM battery has kicked the bucket. If the truck sits for more than a few days it's dead - if it's really cold it's dead sometimes 48 hours after a charge. I've already decided to upgrade to a Northstar AGM but my current one likely could be replaced under warranty.

If I did get a brand new battery under warranty, what do you think the fair selling price on Kijiji would be? Stock is a 27F.

No help, but I'm interested too

Mine just dead yet, but after 12 months, it's testing @ 69% with my car battery load tester.

I'd probably list at 30-40% off MSRP. Winnipeg are cheap, otherwise I'd say 25% off and they save the tax

Any idea what MSRP is? I honestly don't know how much an OEM battery is.

    Yeah, I’m tempted.

Turns out that nobody anywhere has stock on an AGM 27F battery. Northstar is only saying maybe available in 4 months.

I’ve tried battery shops all across Alberta, Toyota and overland shops in Alberta and BC. All say the same thing. So it looks like it will be another OEM for now.

Is there any Canadian owned and operated aftermarket parts supplier/manufacturer? I can't seem to find any products for the Tundra/Sequoia. I am looking for wheel spacers since I am installing a set of studded snow tires with my OEM wheels. I don't want to pay up to $100usd just in shipping.

Krave Automotive in Calgary = these guys know Toyota and stock or order regularly from all of the major manufacturers. You need to call them vs buy online and they are almost always my first call (or text). They have spacers almost always in stock.
Overland Outfitters in Vancouver = lots of products, great people but they are honestly swamped and are slower to reply than normal right now.

As far as manufacturers, I would love if more Canadians would contact Greenlane from Vancouver Island and ask "when are you making stuff for Tundras?". Their Tacoma parts are solid but they haven't heard enough from Tundra owners to really dive into it.

Some random ones to know about:

Treeline Roof Top Tents are from Turner Valley Alberta. Great folks, great story, great products (although I still have an Eezi Awn).
Adventure Trucks in Kelowna is the Canadian AluCab distributor (owner is a Tundra driver!)
TDOT Performance is one of those bigger parts places but has some solid deals with fair shipping.
The Gear Shop in Calgary is not really Toyota focused and usually a bit pricier, but has a lot of cool stuff. Think James Baroud and Fjallraven
Cochrane Toyota is also pretty reasonable with OEM parts but not always the cheapest.

Keep in mind that domestic shipping in Canada sometimes costs more than cross border shipping.

It costs me the same to ship to Montreal vs to Florida out of Toronto, this is for commercial goods via UPS service.

Sometimes I also browse Kijiji a lot, my wife would say simply too much, if you search under Canada wide you can find some decent deals even include shipping costs.

We got hit the other day, with what seems to be 15--20cm.

Now they are calling for a Winter Storm Warning for the next 48hrs. Up to 25cm and winds up to 70kpm

Glad I'm on vacation for 2 weeks! Walk the dog, shovel the driveway, smoke meat.

We may yet get snow here in southwestern ontario. The weather turns from mud to snow sometime Thursday.

We're getting a dusting today but the copious amounts of snow we got in November didn't all melt during the recent heat wave so it was already white.

I like a nice clean driveway and we're on a main drag so, if I don't shovel as soon as it stops snowing, the sidewalk gets tramped down by kids and dog walkers and the driveway gets tramped down by people turning around in it.
