    Haha. (No offense meant by any of this, just idle chatter on my part.)

    Don’t get me wrong, I love that my wife and her family are proud of their heritage and celebrate it at every major holiday, if not year round. Whatever it is- clothes, drink, painted knickknacks, food, whatever... I’m glad they do and help out with their preparations whenever I can. My mutt/bastard Irish palate just doesn’t love most of their food. ;) I’d never complain about it. They’re happy, which makes me happy. All good.

    Back to Aaron's question from ther other day, the only non traditional dish my parents did for Thanksgiving yesterday was zucchini gorp.

    Slice zucchinis, tomatoes and onions and put them in a casserole, cover with cheese and bake the whole thing.

    Speaking of rain, I just got back home after working up by Thunder Bay where in the last week we got ~50mm of rain. Yeah I'll take the small amount of white stuff over being soaked like I jumped into the swimming pool.
