I agree with you. I think a certain $650 million payment has ensured favourable treatment of the current admin. A civil conversation around a campfire is honestly the best place to discuss politics. Maybe one day we can have a Canuck Tundras Political PowWow

 

Every party is "right" about some issues (i.e. agrees with me ) and "wrong" about others. So I have to pick the one that's least wrong to me.

My former lead hand texted me this morning. Guess all the work that was supposed to come in has been pushed back and they may lay off the remainder of the guys there. Told me if I find a job to take it since things don't look good at all. Guess I'm sitting till July then. I have my fire training at the end of June and it's kinda tough to start a new job and need 2.5 weeks off within a month. Nevermind the fact that virtually nobody is hiring now due to the virus.

Yep. I'm doing my NFPA 1001 levels 1 and 2. I need to go to Kimberly, BC at the end of June for the practical section and testing.

If it had been a conservative saving an oil or pipeline company or other western company the same way SNC was saved, would the westerners be crying about it? Regarding sitting around a campfire, I would love to do that with many of my friends who disagree, it is possible to disagree and be friends, people just dismiss the other side as either stupid bigots, or snowflake libtards. Were all canadians and love our country.
