One more day of cold here in WPG. Only about -15 but going to feel like -35 with wind chill.

Then we are back to - single digits for a week or more. Looking forward to getting back out on the ice. We just can't do it when it is -20 or more on an outdoor rink

I'm just looking forward to it being warm enough to work on my truck without needing to use my kids' shop ... (my own Garage is full of project cars, LOL.)

My kid runs the back-end of a wheel/tire shop in Calgary so has access to the bay after-hours which is nice for doing repairs at times . . .

It got above zero for a little while this afternoon here in GP. Felt positively spring like.

Also, @PRO BLANCO your avatar is mesmerizing. Who is she!?

It would appear you're correct. I vaguely remember watching one or two WWF matches back when The Rock was cookin'.

I added a gif above for you.

Oh yeah ...that was about when I stopped watching, but it was still decent.

I grew up watching AWA and going to the shows in WPG with Gerry Blackwell, Nick Bockwinkle, Jim Brunzell, mad Dog Vachon as well as watching the hayday of the NWA in the 80s and even Calgary Stampede before Brett Hart and those guys made it big.

    Noice. She'll do. :D

I never really got big into WWF. It was fun to watch at my friends' houses as a kid in the 90's, but not having cable tv at home meant I never followed it at all. Every now and then I'll pull up clips on youtube from the The Rock and Stone Cold's matches for giggles though.

Yeah we usually didnt have Cable either. Except for the 2-3 odd years that Rogers gave us a free trial and forgot about it. Those were the glory days.

That's just mean. Rubbin' salt in the wound...

That second last pic with the waterfall through the rock, is that up near Yoho? I've been there but can't remember which one of the waterfalls it was. I'll be there next summer as well.

You get used to the seasons and learn to enjoy them ....plus family, home owner, career etc.

This is my commute to work via bike for 3 seasons.

Yeah, that's in Yoho! It's simply called "Natural Bridge". It's on the road to Emerald Lake. There used to be some great driving west of that spot, but the park has closed-off vehicle access now and has no plans to open it. You can still walk in, but not drive.

There's some great camping spots out that direction (Just west of the Alberta/BC border) that are MUCH quieter than some of the more-common ones near me (ie: McLean Creek, Waiparous). I'm too old and cranky now to be cool with people shooting, yelling and drunk-driving ATV's up/down the creek at 2AM. I need my sleep now, ha!
