I wish my garage was longer. At 231" long, it just barely doesn't fit a half ton.

Car battery, jumper cables and the thief's testicles come to mind. Actually, since the vehicles are apparently destined for the Middle East, how about some middle eastern justice? I believe over there they chop the thief's hand off.

Windows were frozen shut, frosted up when I got to work parkade, had to get out and scrape a second time.

Low pressure lights were on and safety sense was disable for the first 10min of my ride. I'm guessing the Toyota logo was frosted up.

Welcome to Winnipeg. High of -20 most of the week

A balmy -7 here in GP this morning. Supposed to hover around the -10 area all week.

Since I've been parking my truck in the garage this winter, I've discovered a new phenomenon. When I get to where I'm going and park, if it's cold enough my windows frost up on the inside. Out comes the scraper and now I have ice powder on the inside of the truck. LOL. Last time I had that was with my Ford which would suck snow into the intakes and blow it all over the interior...

@Outbound I get that too, even though I park outside and it's cold outside. The work parkade is underground, covered and about +25. As soon as I drive in, I frost up and can't see a rhing

My car has a "feature" where it will shut off the rear defrost and heated mirrors once the window gets warm. However, it doesn't turn the defrost back on once the window cools off again. This was a real nuisance when I lived in a condo with heated underground parking as I wouldn't be able to see anything out the back or in my mirrors when I'd get home from work (parked outside) on cold days.

We put up a camera last night, I'll probably add 2 more to cover the full driveway, vehicles and front yard/entrance

It won't stop them but hopefully it will help if needed to catch the pricks

My wife always parks her Lexus in the garage, 2 cameras in the front. Even though there’s no relay risk in my Tundra, I have a steering and separate brake lock on the truck. Work for it!

Light gets tripped as soon as someone approaches (old pic):

Our city has the infamous case of the serial thief who tried to steal a truck and was shot dead, the former army reservist home owner acquitted.

Ah Virden. I slept in my old civic driving across Canada in november in virden. My god the worst attempt at sleep in my life. Myself, my dog, my little brother and our belongings in that car. I couldnt even move or lean my seat back the car was so overloaded. But i love me a good road trip. Id do it again, but this time in my Tundra.

The RCMP and our legal system can stop putting onus on me anytime now. If they would actually put some effort into arresting and imprisoning scumbags, I wouldn't have to worry about leaving my registration in my truck.

Ban cops from Tim's and they would have plenty of time to patrol.

    A bunch
Other day I was driving in Edmonton and fiance pointed out a cop driving on the road - I was blown away cause I didn't think they were allowed to actually drive the roads, I just never see them. I don't know if it's lack of personnel/funding but I rarely see them out and about. Either they're too busy or they're sitting too much in hiding spots to actually have a presence out in public.

To be honest, most of the ones in town here are going through drive thrus. I haven't actually seen any cops sitting around a donut shop like they could in the 50s when there was no crime and every 3rd juvenile delinquent wasn't on meth and carrying a machete.

Cops/first responders etc, don't get a paid coffee/smoke break to stop working or be off the clock like most office jobs, they are on the job from start to finish.

This is true. I did bust my neighbour (Abbotsfod PD) pulling out of a Tim's once. Got im! I still razz him. Lol

My issue isn't with frontline officers but instead with their brass and the politicians who mandate piss poor allocations of resources. Not to mention the joke of a legal system we have. If you think we get upset at the lack of results, you should hear what my cop friends have to say about arresting dirtbags over and over again for the same thing.

Exactly. Every LEO I know is very frustrated with our ‘catch & release’ legal system.
