    How windy was it today? At the Highway 3 & 22 intersection by the Crowsnest there is a wind speed warning sign when you head east on 3. It shows the a digital read out of the wind speed in the area to warn truckers.

    Global News showed a video of the sign ripped off its base and blowing around.

    Had about 5” of white stuff on the ground here this morning as well. Wet heavy stuff. We barely escaped a green Christmas here, and today was the first time I really had to shovel snow this winter.

    We had a solid 1' foot base in Southern NB, and I was sledding just 2.5 hrs north of here in mid November! A huge rain storm (80 mms), and 12° took care of most of that...and all of ours, a week ago. Another storm rollin in here NY's Eve though.

    Long shot...

    Anyone remember at the car, RV and home shows a Canadian vendor that sold tie down straps? The guy was often there showing a rope like tie down on an ATV. It wasn’t a ratchet strap but a locking rope mechanism. Like Quickie but not them.

    Any ideas?

    I use a tie down on my dirtbike where you simply push down on the suspension qnd at the same time, pull up on the strap...then it automatically locks the strap in the buckle.

    Is that what ur referring to?
