Hello other Canadians. Who knows of some good off road type places, friendly for families that would allow some good nights camping?

LoL - we will need to just talk daily here about BS to keep the pulse flowing. Alberta is fine by me! This summer we're exploring Ontario parks, but next year I hope to either venture west or into the Americas, as they got many nice places I keep seeing.

I want to cover my country first, but it depends on logistics and such. Kind of explore my "back yard" sort of deal.

Ya I hear you, I want to explore east of the country, and than south of the boarder. I hear Ontario has lots of nice places to camp.

Our provincial parks are awesome. I began camping last year with the family after 32 years of being the most city folk ever. Finally had a mental break (I've been in sales 15 or so years) and wanted to get away once a month.

We visited, The Pinery Provincial Park, Algonquin, Six Mile Lake last season. With a few visits to The Pinery it was so nice and family oriented. This year we are doing 3 new parks and our first Nation Park at the bruce peninsula national park.

Have you ordered up your free Park Passes yet? http://www.commandesparcs-parksorders.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/en/parksb2c

I went dirt biking there once, seem to remember it being one of the only places in southern ON you could legally ride off road. I am out of the loop though, been in alberta since 2006.

I like how this thread died twice for almost a year each time. As a Canadian I wonder if we should be offended lol. I live in the US now. Anyone else a transplant?

Beausoleir Island national park near honey harbour ON. is a nice place to camp. Only accessable by water taxi (or personal boat). Honeymoon bay was one of my favorite sites there.

Life time spent where I'm at in Ontario. Just recently had the means, method and family who wants to explore the outdoors.
Hopefully this thread remains active. Would be nice to talk free of abuse when I drop an Eh bomb. Also to meet and camp and chill with other people who understand Toyotas are where its at.
