I don't think the Cheezies are big. I think you have tiny fingers. I think @Squatting Pigeon needs to change your custom title from Old Man Blue to Little Finger.

I knew a pic of my hand would backfire somehow. I'm just glad I used my finger and not something else. :eek2:

As for the Hawkins. The 3 pack sleeves are from Walmart here. Costco only carries the 36i x mini bags the past few years. That one is at work in my desk drawer.

Bucking down for a winter storm here. MB is expecting 15-25cm of snow tomorrow afternoon/evening. Yay!

You guys are on a whole different level with junkfood here. All dressed chips are freaking amazing by the way. Why the hell don’t they have those in the states? Also, smarties ar e better than regular M&Ms. that said peanut M&Ms are still the greatest of all those kinds of candy.

Tim Hortons is garbage though. How did you guys run Dunkin’ Donuts AND Krispy Cream out of BC?? Is this a blind nationalism thing or do you seriously think Tim Hortons is better?

Winnipeg is getting a Krispy Kreme this year, close to my place. I like their cake donuts and going when the sign is lit up, for warm original glazed....at least that's how the Minneapolis one worked.

Tim Hortons sucks for donuts and snacks, over priced, bland and they never have anthhing. I don't drink coffee, so can't comment on that.

Robins Donuts is way better, but only a few left in the city.

Don't know if she's ever tried Dunkin or Krispy Kreme but my wife actually thinks Tim's has the best coffee and with her it's not a patriotism thing

All dressed chips are great. Ketchup chips are fantastic too. You're right about smarties, m&m's and especially peanut m&m's.

Tim Horton's always has been and always will be trash. People who like it are not to be trusted, they're generally Ford driving, freedom hating, sushi eaters. Either that or they don't know a thing about coffee.

Krispy Kreme is now my 2nd favorite donut. There's a local Mennonite run place here that makes the greatest donuts known to man. It's as if the Heavens parted and the hand of Lord himself came down a bestowed upon these people the recipe.

There used to be a Country Style doughnut shop near my parents' house. No points for guessing what it is now.

The appreciation for 'fine' coffee to me is the same as the appreciation for a good wine, or a good rye, or scotch!
If you appreciate its goodness, then it is Fiiiiiine! and who cares what others think! :)

Artic char, I have not had since I was in Yellowknife, & it was good! Funny its in short supply in SW Ontario! :monocle: Horse, Ive never eaten, but likely would even if just to try it. I know they used to eat it in St Pierre/Miquelon but don't anymore as far as I know. Maple whisky, depending on if you lean towards a liqueur or not - Sortiliege is my apres ski drink of choice!

I see you too have partaken in the communion of donut righteousness. Blessed be their sugary hole-yness, forever and ever. Amen.

Crooked Creek Donuts. It's a small independent gas station/food store in Crooked Creek, about 30min east of Grande Prairie, Alberta. They also have a food truck that travels to Grande Prairie in summer so it's easier to take communion.

The best whiskey is the whiskey you like, the way you like to drink it. Same pretty much goes for wine. Coffee is generally the same too, except for Tim's, which is nothing more than warmed up bilge water. Ever notice how nobody drink's Tim's coffee black? Everybody has to pump it full of sugar and cream because it's so bad. Nobody actually like's Tim's coffee, they like the sugar fix they get from it. Which is why anyone who says Tim's makes good coffee cannot be trusted.

I've never caught an arctic char, but I've caught lake trout which are the same sub-species but are landlocked. My family enjoyed it, especially the one my uncle smoked. Arctic grayling is one of the fish The Woman asks me to bring home now and then. She really enjoys it, says it has a sort of sweetness to it.

I've never tried horse. I'd give it a go depending on how it was cooked.

My mom's cousin used to work for Tim's in some kind of management role and she admitted to us that they put crack in the sugar to keep people coming back.

Friggen Newfies. LOL. Wonderful people but bless their hearts, it's impossible to understand 99% of what they jabber on about. Something something cod. Something something da rock. Something something yes b'y! :D

False. Nothing good comes out of Montreal. Best bagel I've ever had was in Seattle, damned if I can remember the name of the place though.

LOL. So even mangement propogates the myth.

I'd have to dig for it but back in 2010 ish, there was a university that did a study on the Tim's addiction. It came down to 3 things which are highly addictive to the human body; caffeine, sugar and fat. Tim's dark roast is still lighter than most other places. Lighter roasts have a slightly higher caffeine content. Sugar is notoriously addictive and cream has a high fat content which triggers dopamine response. Combine them in the most common form of a double double and you basically have the coffee version of meth.
