Just popping in here to ask which one of you crazy Canuks are sending the cold weather to Texas? Our weatherman was tracking it last night...

It kinda reeks of @Outbound but the way it traveled across Canada, I think @Cpl_Punishment and @BravoDeltaRomeo might be in on it. I'm also thinking maybe a Canadian moose farted in Alaska and you all have been blowing it this way.

I think it’d sell pretty quickly. I watched S AB and S BC Kijiji for quite awhile, before finally finding a used cap, in a color I could live with. A more neutral color might sell quicker, but there are quite a few Cement Tundras running around.

A GFC or SP would be so awesome! If you haven’t already, maybe check out Yucca Pac Campers? They look well designed and nicely featured, from the videos anyways. And Alberta made, which is a big plus in my books.

I have seen the Yucca - looks great. It's just a little too camper focused for me. I would like something a bit lighter and more "hose out the inside".

    True.

Just got back from an hour long walk with the dog in our local forest. It's cold for little Martha with no body fat and a short haired coat.....but she still wants to go and still loves it.

    -24 feels like -36. Brrrrrrr.

We were the only ones there. Just the way I like it. :bananadance:

-41C here this morning. A bunch of snow in the forecast later this week and my snowblower is still down. I just haven't had a chance to work on it, but hopefully I can get it running today.

Yeah. The simplicity & weight of the GFC are very nice.

There was a GFC for the 2.5Gen CM on Calgary Kijiji a couple months ago. If money were no object… haha.

Bring it in the house so your hands don't get cold while you're working on it. I'm sure the Woman won't mind.

You joke but I don't think she'd mind much at all. As long as I didn't do it when little AK and I found a way to keep the fumes down.

As it is, I'm going to park a couple space heaters in the garage to try to take the edge off in there.

I probably should get her started. Her favorite youtube channel is Matt's Offroad Recovery and she loves watching big trucks drive past. I can see her having some mechanical aptitude as she gets older.

Pvt. Punishment is really into trucks and buses, too. I don't watch much off road stuff but I'll have to start her on Whistlin Diesel and Zip Ties and Bias Plies.

-25 AND snow here currently. How is that even possible?

I thought once it got so cold, it didn't snow.

Got them from a Kijiji seller out of Kamloops who sold his Tundra before installing. Very fair deal, great communication and shipped it very fast. I’m always hesitant to buy things on Kijiji and have them shipped but this was a great experience.

I took a chance with eTransfer. It’s such a specific part that the risk of being a scammer was low. In the end it was a great experience.

You can usually tell by the communication, grammar in emails etc, if they are on the up and up.

'Yo, send me the G's first" vs "you can send the funds via e-transfer when you have a moment", speaks volumes on who you are dealing with.

you can solve global warming just by calling all of north america manitoba. That would send global average temps plummeting.

I’ve had pretty good experiences on shipping and sending myself on kijiji.
Like Bruce said you can tell by the communication you have.

I had a guy in Ontario send me a motorcycle part, he actually send me a tracking # before I paid him. All the ones I’ve dealt with, we have exchanged phone numbers also, with lots of pics.

I just took a visit to a local dealer to see the new Sequoia. If you want want one, it will be a 2025 model.

My Tundra is looking nicer everyday.
