my 2006 extended sr5 had the bench seat (driver single abd two place passenger side). This was replaced with two buckets supposedly from a 2006 model. The driver seat harness fit with no problem but not so on the pax side. The harness is completely different and so no airbag which is obviously a worrisome situation. I think in the early years there was an on/off switch in the glove box that was subject to a bulletin but I am not sure. Nevertheless since the seat sensor only arms the passenger system air bag I am hoping someone knows how to just have it turned on at all times bypassing the harness altogether. Any other suggestions would be welcome. I have not had the Takata recall action done.
