I was wondering if a platinum instrument cluster fit into my regular sr5 model. I was going to do a white LED conversion but my friend has his old platinum cluster up for grabs and I wanted to see if it would work. The connectors in the back seems to look the same. I wonder if it would function correctly.

    Welcome to your first post!

Hmmm. I don't see why not, but i would wonder about the wiring setup for the additional gauges that it reads.

Also, a standard gauge cluster is around $700 I believe...so keep that in mind if you break something.

    Thanks.
I was going to get a used cluster and do the LED conversion. If that turned out good I was just going to do the one in my truck but if anything my buddy can just change the mileage for me on that used one to match my original miles. The connector in the back looks identical, well I am just going off of pictures.
