    Hello;

    My '07 has the standard stock non JBL radio. I have been given a free 2012 Tundra Nav radio. I know there are going to be some issues but not sure what they are. Has anyone done this mod?

    Thanks

    Dave

    Some Mods :) See build thread for details
    There are a few on here that could help. They should find this post but if not look up stereo mod stuff and you might find the threads

    Brush guard, TRD exhaust, Hard tonneau cover , Toyota tube steps - was already on truck.
    Since my factory 6 disc changer has non-functioning knobs, I've been looking at swapping mine out for another factory system. I initially looked into possibly upgrading it to a factory nav system.

    I read that the conversion requires all the wiring for the Nav system, harnesses, pig tails, and all. I did some googling and read what others had done. It seems like a whole lotta work to rewire everything, plus I'm not 100% sure about the backup cam. It seems like there's some wiring for it in the A-pillar on models that are "pre-wired" for it, but I'm not certain which Tundras are wired for it.
