I originally found you while search the issues of the camshaft tower leaks. I don't have a leak yet but was told by a mechanic friend that it most likely will happen

We have had a number of leaks reported but, then again, a lot of folks haven't had them either. The leakers get more posts it seems, but it is not the norm. I don't know that a mechanic can predict what will or won't happen on them leaking. Do you have a Tundra now?

Yes, I have a 2015 SR5 TRD that I bought new with the 5.7 V8. I only have 25,000 miles on it, and I don't have a leak . This is actually my second one. I had a 2010, that had the 4.6 V8 in it. I now know that if this does happen it is covered by the 5 year 60,000 mile drive train warranty. Supposedly this fix is about $5,000 if you had to have it fixed.
