This is what I would like to have done to my Tundra. There is a company just outside of Cincinatti called Nut House Industries that can make the flatbed and they could probably make the camper shell. That would be SO sweet! Then finish out the inside on my own time.

First october snow of the year, a nice 1 nighter with my gang.
Paid for a power site so ran a 1500w heater and we were quite content at 0deg C (32deg F) with only insulation on the roof of the trailer.

its quite basic as I still use it as a trailer. Dickinson propane stove in the very front, removable bed, basic 12v system and insulated roof. Needs a window badly…
The trailer is Canadian made and the shell is 1 piece fiberglass so no corrosion hail damage, or leaks.

Picked up camper at rv center from getting it winterized. I forgot to pull out the tow mirrors. I stopped to do that and had to take a photo of the setup I have. 4101D54C-1852-4B38-BA5A-C204328016A1.jpg

yea. thats the one. It can get a little bit of condensation inside when its cold out or you dont have any windows open. This is the single, there's a double wide version as well. I'm 6ft 225lb side sleeper and I am pretty comfortable.

Looking for a unique gift for the parents and was thinking about a countertop ice maker for their RV. Does anyone here have any recommendations or reviews? Is it a good investment or a bad idea?

I have a small Frigidaire silver one my wife got me. Havent used camping but use at office with no water source. It works great. Makes ice within 15 min of plugging in. Zero complaints.

Appreciate the input. I was looking at an Igloo brand one on Amazon that has good reviews, I'll take a look at Frigidaire too

We've had one and so have our friends. Ambient temperature will play a very big part in the success and satisfaction for these small countertop units. On a 70-degree day in the PNW, they will work quite well. But if it's up in the mid 80's, the ice cubes will not be very big and melt very quickly. Be sure to move the newly formed cubes into a cooler as quickly as you can if you expect them to last.

Latest update. Got the RCI HD Aluminum 12" bed rack installed with a TuffStuff 270 compact awning. Went ahead and upgraded to the new WaterPort Weekender to get 8 gallons of pressurized water over the 3.8 I had from the Day Tank.

I know there's a few people here with Gazelle tents. Does anyone know if a Gazelle T4 will fit in a '22 short box? The bed is 66" long.

    I'm a welder, not a seamstress. :p

In it's bag. We need a new tent for the family but I have a short box with a Diamondback cover and I'm not interested in a rack or otherwise having a tent mounted outside the vehicle.

Perfect. That makes the Gazelle the most likely contender for our new tent this season.
